This is an interesting chart to ponder. It did challenge my expectation that Evangelicals would be wealthier then the average Christian. That's a shame- I always blame them for the prosperity Gospel. Perhaps I need to look a bit closer to home.

Or, it could be a.) the prosperity gospel doesn't work b.) oppressed Evangelicals get caught up in and vote based on conservative social issues (no gun control, pro-life, marriage protection) while the fiscal issues that go hand in hand with conservative social issues continually rail road them into the same oppression that they have always lived in
